Our Story
Jon and Katie met in Probability class in college. (We know, what are the odds?). They spent a year growing their friendship and getting to know each other. By the end of the year their friendship had grown into something more. For the next two years Jon and Katie maintained a long-distance relationship; Jon in St. Louis and Katie in Jacksonville, and then Jon in Colorado and Katie… still in Jacksonville. Once Katie graduated from Illinois College, she took the opportunity to move out to Colorado to be closer to Jon. For the next year their love for each other continued to grow. Jon continued to work on his company and Katie trudged through her first year of teaching. Together, they celebrated Jon’s acquisition of IntenseDebate and dealt with Katie’s unfortunate situation at school. It was clear that Jon and Katie’s love was getting stronger every day and their conversations about getting married were becoming more serious each time. Which leads us to the proposal…
